WFN Annual Football Game: A GREAT GOAL!

One of World Freight Network's goals is to strengthen the bonds between its members, year after year. To assist in doing this, WFN members gather from all corners of the world for an annual meeting, starting with a friendly game of football. 

What with the UEFA Euro 2016 fast approaching, the annual WFN football game was more appealing than ever; everybody was up for some fun. For an insight into the event and to hear some of the participants explain why they enjoy it, watch the videos below.

The game is an excellent opportunity for newer members to start to get to know one another and for existing members to strengthen all bonds with their partners.  

Usually the teams are separated by continent. For example Europe, Middle East & Africa V Americas, Australaisa & Asia. However, it seemed wholly appropriate that the teams should be mixed this year as the event was being held in the Rainbow Nation, more commonly known as South Africa.

WFN Managing Director said, "Being able to run around and connect on the football field is such a great ice-breaker. Spirits are high, positive camaraderie is rife. The great thing is that the non-playing spectators are networking at the event too. One member told me that some new business was assigned to their company on the sideline! So it's possible to win on and off the pitch. Excellent results all round."
