How did you start out in Freight Forwarding?
"I was working for an airline as a cargo instructor, and this gave me the knowledge and guided me into the freight forwarding industry and what we are today."
Your thoughts on the logistics industry today and how things have changed due to the Pandemic?
"Covid 19 has not helped the cargo business, it has casued a decrease in business worldwide. It has certainly had an impact on the economical situations of individual forwarders."
What are the main challenges facing independent forwarders?
"Independant forwarders need the support of each other especially in today's market."
How relevant is networking in today’s forwarding industry?
"Networking is very relevant in today's forwarding industry, to be a part of a large group of companies is very supportive. Networking's advantages cannot be overemphasized."
How do you see the future for independent forwarders?
"I see the future being very bright within WFN."
