Who we are

Kelly Bunyan studied Business Economics and French at university, which created an interest in world trade. Kelly then taught English in France and Germany before working for a software company in London. This position gained her much experience in both networking and conference organising. Kelly left the company to start her own business, which has now become the largest Martial Arts Academy in London. In 2004, Kelly wanted a new business challenge. She researched the industry for a year and concluded that freight networking was the way forward. Through her study of economics, she developed an interest in freight and wanted to find a way for small to medium sized companies to compete with the larger market leaders. From a personal viewpoint, Kelly feels that with all the war and intolerance in the world, it is a great thing to be able to gather so many different countries and cultures together, for mutual gain. Kelly also strongly believes that the WFN network will only be as good as its members, and it is her main focus to ensure that the quality of membership remains high.

A dynamic and energetic professional, having gained a wealth of experience in every aspect of shipping, freight forwarding and the logistics industry since 1994. From hands on day-to-day operational activities to strategic sales and marketing, Debbie is a very personable and excellent communicator. She has had access to an extensive client portfolio whereby key accounts, major brand names and blue chip companies have been assigned to her control. Having previously worked for 3 independent, privately-owned freight forwarders and gaining extensive experience in both air and sea freight, as well as import and export, Debbie is well equipped to help advance and develop the WFN network and understand the needs of its members. Debbie also brings with her specialist knowledge of several transport markets and routes, including the East African market.
